Christmas 2014

 

The kids helped me set up the tree and decorate again this year. We turn on Christmas music and decorate away.

 Yay it's Christmas! Love this day.

 We kept it pretty simple this year. They loved what they got.

 We also did CHristmas breakfast at our house this year. Then we went donw to Grandpa and Grandma's house to open presents. Grandpa gave the older kids and adults handmade knives. I got my grandmothers necklace! Jonny got a lock box grandpa made. (He has been asking for one forever). Emily got Hair accecories and a purse grandma made. Nathan got his favorite pens.

It was a great-family filled- Christmas.

Christmas Eve hike

 We went out to Red Cliffs this year for our Christmas Eve hike. It was perfect weather.

So much fun. I love this tradition!

Random December

 All of November we were sick and recouping from our big trip. Once we felt better, we were happy to be productive again. I was able to do a stone wall behind the stove. Dad made us a mantle to top it. The fished product is great. I also painted the living room, kids rooms, and Nathan's office. I love being home!

 This full rainbow was a beautiful scene.

I love that Jonny loves to read. Such a great kid!

WOLF!

 Jonny got his wolf in December. He worked hard after we got home from our trip. He was so excited! We are proud of this kid.

Birthday Celebration

 We were not able to properly celebrate Emily's birthday on the island, so we did a combined celebration for all 3 of them.

 It is becoming tradition for us to go to the Pizza Factory and get number pizzas on their birthdays. The kids love it.

Jonny is now 9, Emily 6, and Nathan 38! Happy Birthday guys!

Love this place!

 We are so happy to live here. It is a beautiful place.

 The pic above was taken after Thanksgiving dinner with friends. We Had dinner with the Garner's on Thanksgiving and dinner with couchsurfers the next day. You can never have too much pie!

 I love walking out to racetrack valley and just sitting and enjoying the peace.

Spooky! Halloween 2014

 This year was kind of last minute. We got home from our 3 month trip on the day before Halloween. I picked up a few things at the store, and we put together some cute costumes.

 We just trick or treated around our neighborhood. Short and sweet. The kids looked so cute and had a great time.
