Great Salt Lake

We drove out to the Great Salt Lake. It was the first time our family had ever been there.
It was a beautiful evening. We just waited for the sun to set.

All of the pictures of the sunset were to dark, but the pictures facing the sun turned out beautiful.

It got pretty cold once the sun went down, but it was a fun little trip. We are going to have to go swimming there this summer.

Shooting range

Mike invited us all to go to the shooting range.
Nathan and the kids are not fans of loud noises, so I left them home and went myself.

It brought back a lot of good memories from childhood.

Love my family!

Zion backcountry

While Del was here, we went with dad and mom to hike is Zion.

We went up a canyon past the tunnel. It was a lot of fun!

We sat and had lunch when the canyon got to steep.

It was a great hike.

Gilbert Temple Open House

We sent down to Mesa for Amanda's baptism in January. While we were there we were able to go to the open house.
 It is a beautiful temple!
It was neat to be able to take the kids through and talk about what the temples are for.

Grandma and Del were able to come with us.
A beautiful Day!

St. George ChildrensMuseum

We had a fun time at the children's museum. To be honest, I didn't expect very much. We have been to a lot of children's museums around the country, and I wasn't sure how good this one would .
I was surprised how good it was, especially for being free. The kids had a great time. There were lots of really fun things to do.

A castle, music room, tree house, shopping, mechanic room, basketball, and our favorite........
 the bubbles. So much fun!
We will be going back soon.

Wildlife museum

The wildlife museum in St. George is awesome. The kids had a blast looking at all the different kinds of animals. Nathan and I loved it too.

The insect and butterfly collection was the best I have ever seen.

Fun, fun, fun!
