Schnepf Farms

The kids and I traveled to Mesa for Autumn's Baptism. While we were there we went to visit Grandma Ruesch and we went to Schnepf Farms. It was a blast!

The kids had a great time riding the Bee's.

Flat Ladybug

This post is for Autumn, Amanda, and Benny.

We really enjoyed having Flat Ladybug stay with us for a few months. The kids enjoyed showing her around.
We celebrated Valentines Day with Ladybug and a few cousins. The kids had fun opening valentines and eating candy.
It snowed while Ladybug was visiting. It was beautiful to see the forest covered in white. Ladybug was especially excited to see snow.

We took a trip to the bounce house. It was a lot of fun going down the slides and playing tag.
When we got to Utah, we had dinner at Heath's house. Uncle Joey gave Emily her first chicken. She loved it.

We went to the park with Taylor. Everyone had a great time.

After a fun stay in Utah, it was time to get on the road to Austin. We saw a lot of neat things. Ladybugs favorite was the giant windmills and the trains.

We spent Easter in Austin. It was fun to decorate our easter eggs.

Austin had a lot of great places. One of our favorite places was Barton Springs Park. It had a natural spring fed pool, a big park and a train.

The State Capitol was another great place. The building was beautiful. It was cool to see such a historic building.

We went to the Texas History Museum and learned all about the history of Texas.

On our way back to Utah, we spent a few days in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. We Spent the 4th of July in Santa Fe and toured some of the oldest churches west of the Mississippi river.

We stopped on Sunday at the Albuquerque, NM temple. It was very pretty.

We had a long trip, but saw a lot of great stuff. Ladybug had fun, but can't wait to get home.
We can't wait to see you all next week!

Portland

There are a lot of things I am going to miss about Oregon.
All the cool places to see. (We didn't get to see everything we wanted to. Maybe someday.)

The fog. It makes things so beautiful!

Being so close to the beach.

Downtown Portland. This is by far the coolest city I have been to!
I am really going to miss seeing this out my back window!
I will miss the beauty.
(I will not miss the rain. Hello Sunshine!)

But most of all, I will miss the people.

We have learned and grown a lot in the past year.
Thank you Oregon!

Emily

This makes me smile!
That's my girl!

Union Station

We took the kids on the train to Portland. It was a very rainy day.We walked a few blocks to see the old Union Station Building. It was cool! It is still in use, there were even some people waiting to go on the trains.

Just like in the movies.
After the train station, we walked around Portland (in the rain) to find some food.We ended up at a great pizza place. The kids (and adults) were exhausted. The pizza was great.

After Pizza, we went to a chocolate store and picked up some delicious chocolate bars. Then we headed out to catch the bus, then the train home. It was an adventure!
