Animal impersonations

A couple of animals!

Cold winter day

Birthday Party

Since Nathan and Jonny have their birthday's 1 week apart, we had a combined birthday party. We invited a few friends from church. Jonny's friends couldn't come. We had a good time eating treats, opening presents, doing a puzzle and playing games.

Jonny at 5 years old:
Loves Legos, singing, riding his bike, playing with Emily, stories, his bunk bed, forts, movies, school, playing with daddy, primary, cousins and friends. He doesn't like eating vegetables, clothes with buttons, anything done the wrong way, and being cold.
Happy birthday Jonny! You are the best little boy! We love you!

Nathan's 34th birthday

We drove to Powell Books in Portland and he picked a book for his present.

Happy Birthday! We Love you!

Thanksgiving 2010

We had a nice time visiting.

The kids had fun playing Indians.

We did a Thanksgiving play about the pilgrims and Indians. The kids even got to kill the (daddy) turkey.
We are so blessed with so many things.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Halloween 2010

Happy Halloween! We went to our ward party.
It was a lot of fun! There was yummy food, games, contests, and of course Trick-or Treating.

Jonny was a very cute pirate, complete with a pirates chest for collecting treasure (Daddy made it). He was very excited to trick or treat, and liked seeing all the costumes.

Emily was a beautiful angel. She liked eating (surprise, surprise), and playing games. She was scared of a few of the costumes, but liked some. Especially Tinkerbell.

Nathan wore a robe and carried around a newspaper. He was scruffy and had crazy hair.
I was a witch, with striped socks and a cool cape.

We had a great Halloween!

Emily's Birthday

Emily is two. Crazy! We had a small party for her at our house. We had pink cupcakes, sang happy birthday and Emily blew out candles. She got a few presents. Markers and a baby bottle for her dolls.

Emily is the sweetest girl and we all love her so much! She loves dolls, playing with daddy and Jonny, eating food, cuddles, stories, songs, coloring (on everything), her belly button, movies, puzzles and shoes. She likes playing in water, and helping with dishes. She doesn't like nap time, onsies (she needs to have her belly button), or being hungry. We are so glad to have her in our family. We love you Emily!

Pumpkin Patch

We drove out to Sauvie Island to meet the Garners at a Pumpkin patch. We got to drive across this awesome bridge! It was huge!
We hopped out of the car and Nathan spotted a baby frog hopping along. The kids loved it.

We walked through the pumpkin patch trying to find the perfect pumpkin. No luck.

We wondered around to another pumpkin patch. Mini pumpkins. Just the right size!

After picking out the perfect pumpkins, we rode on the tractor ride. It was lots of fun.

Then it was time for the corn maze.
Lucky we had Nathan to direct us through. Jonny loved the maze.
We never found the Garners. Turns out we were at the wrong pumpkin patch. Oh well, It was a very fun day!
