Maryland part 4

One of my favorite parts of Maryland was our tour of the ship "Constellation". It was a ship from the civil war time. It was so cool!

It was neat to imaging being on-board at that time.

 It was huge. Four decks.

Jonny learning about the pumping system on the ship.
There was a "hospital' area where they had tools for amputation and tools for pulling teeth. Yikes!

 ARRGGHH Matey!

We also toured Fort Mchenry. It was great to learn about the history and be able to see exactly where it happened.

I loved the flag they had. It was a replica of the flag that hung back then. It only had 13 stars and it was huge.

It was a great place.

Maryland part 3

We took a water taxi one night, just for fun.

We got to see the ships and buildings.

 There was a beautiful sunset.

 It got a little chilly

It was a beautiful evening.

Maryland Part 2

In Baltimore, there was a fun little play area that the kids loved. The third time we went to play, they were working on the grass and we couldn't play. Emily cried and cried.

There were tons of ships and things to look at.

We walked up Federal hill one evening. There was a great view from the top.
The kids played on the park. Nathan told them the story of the battle of Baltimore.

The Science Center was a lot of fun! They had a cloud machine that the kids loved.

Digging up dinosaur bones, and seeing the huge dinosaurs was a highlight.

Emily and Jonny's favorite part was the kids place. They had a blast playing with the train, water area, Submarine, and many other fun things

We had so much fun that we went back a second time.
