The North Rim

 We took our Couch Surfing friends, Zita and Arpi to the North Rim. We camped one night in a beautiful spot in the mountains.

It was fun to see our favorite spots again. On the drive home, our trailer broke and we had to call a tow truck. We didn't get home until 11:30 that night. It was overall a good trip.

Checkerboard Mesa canyon hike

 We took the kids up to Checkerboard Mesa and hiked up a canyon.

 It was quite an adventure, we had to climb steep hills, go up a dry waterfall, and we chased big horn sheep through the canyon.

Angel's Landing Zion

 I did it! I finally hiked Angel's Landing!

 I got tired of telling people about it, and never doing it myself. It was amazing. I didn't think it would be so mentally challenging.

 There were multiple times that I almost turned around, but I am so glad I didn't. It was a great experience!

North Rim with Karen and Patrik

 Karen and Patrik invited us to stay with them in their cabin at the North Rim. We had a great time.

 We went to viewpoints that we had never been to before. Some of my new favorites!

Carter Family Reunion #2

 Well, these pictures are backwards, Oh well. We went to a place called Tiny Town with April and Sam. Tiny Town is just outside Denver, and was my grandmothers favorite place as a kid.

On the way home we stopped to have lunch at a rest stop, and the kids and I left a little flower behind.

 Jonny played games, while Emily played with my camera. Haha

 We went on a train ride too!
