Christmas

 Christmas Eve we went on a hike south of Hurricane. It was the perfect weather to hike. We hiked to the top of a hill. The kids collected black and white rocks. When we got back to the bottom, Nathan and Jonny played a game of checkers in the sand.

 Christmas morning was wonderful. The kids loved what they got. After opening presents, we went to Joey's house for breakfast. The rest of the day we spent at home playing with new toys.

It was a wonderful Christmas!

Washington DC

 This was the greatest trip! It started with the kids getting a tour of the planes cockpit.

 We got around on the Metro. Our hotel was a short walk from the station.

We started our museum tours at the Museum of Natural History. It was one of our favorites.

 Next, we headed to the Museum of the American Indian.

 Then off to the Arboretum.

 We had a short trip to the Museum of American History. Emily fell off a stool and hit her head, so we went home.

 That night we took a walking tour of the Mall. (The area where all the museums are, and the Washington Monument and the White House.)

 The Iwo Jima Monument and Arlington.

 The Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument.

 The White house was fun to see, but it was getting so so cold.

 The favorite museum of the trip was of course the Air and Space museum.

 The long escalator to the Metro.

 We took a tour of the Capitol building. It was awesome. We learned so much!

 There were a lot of places we didn't have time to go to, like the Library of Congress.

Oh well, next time. It was the best trip. We all learned so much and had a great time doing it.

Halloween

 We spent this Halloween in Provo with April's family.

 We had a lot of fun getting ready.
