Maryland Part 2

In Baltimore, there was a fun little play area that the kids loved. The third time we went to play, they were working on the grass and we couldn't play. Emily cried and cried.

There were tons of ships and things to look at.

We walked up Federal hill one evening. There was a great view from the top.
The kids played on the park. Nathan told them the story of the battle of Baltimore.

The Science Center was a lot of fun! They had a cloud machine that the kids loved.

Digging up dinosaur bones, and seeing the huge dinosaurs was a highlight.

Emily and Jonny's favorite part was the kids place. They had a blast playing with the train, water area, Submarine, and many other fun things

We had so much fun that we went back a second time.

Maryland Part 1

We had an awesome time in Baltimore. We did so many fun things. We started off with the aquarium.

We saw a great dolphin show.

The dolphins jumped and played and did tricks.

We saw the Jellyfish invasion. Big ones and little tiny ones.

The kids loved the different kinds of fish.

We got to see a few divers feeding the fish. A few of the exhibits were to dark to take pictures. The sharks were awesome. I wish I could have gotten pictures. Jonny loved them.

To be continued.......

Zackery's blessing

We made a surprise trip to Mesa for a baby blessing. Amos and Eli's new baby Zackary.
The kids had a lot of fun with cousins.

It was a wonderful day!

North Rim Campout 8-9-2012

In August, we took a trip to Mesa for Nathan's work. On the way there we camped out at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. There was a beautiful double rainbow on the way.

There are beautiful meadows along the road, and deer everywhere.
We had breakfast at the Lodge, and Jonny drew a monster picture.

We decided to hike the east rim. It was not a view of the Grand Canyon, but it was beautiful, and there were no people there.

Hidden Canyon with Matilde and Magda

and France. They stayed at our house couch surfing.

It was a very hot day, but still beautiful.
While we were at the top we built a flower out of rocks. We also met a lady from Jordan and had a good visit.

The kids loved playing in the sand.
It was a fun day. 8-2012
