Drive to Oregon

The drive to Oregon was not to bad. I think we have traveled so much lately, we are becoming professionals. We drove he first day to April and David's. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins. Then, it was back in the car for day 2.




We made it to Boise. On day 3 we arrived in Portland. I new we were getting close when I saw this.......Yep, rain. Something we will have to get very used to. It is very beautiful though. The Columbia river gorge is awesome. There are beautiful waterfalls along the highway. The kids did great except for the last hour or two. We are glad to finally be here.

Reptiles

The reptile area at the zoo was awesome. They have an albino crocodile, a HUGE snake, and lots of lizards and frogs. This was one of Jonny's favorite places.

Houston Zoo

The Houston Zoo is great! Jonny and Emily love to see all the different animals.

Jonny thought it was awesome that the lion had the same name as him.

We searched all day for the Red Panda.

Airplane ride to Houston

The kids did great on the airplane ride. Jonathan loved it.

Since we arrived in Houston, we have been doing a lot of this!
Waiting..........for the bus.

Life without a car is exciting. It was very cold the first few days. Once it warms up and we get used to the bus schedules, life should get easier. We are having a lot of fun. The childrens museum is really great! Our hotel is nice. It should be a fun month.

Mesa trip 2010

We had a great time at the Phoenix zoo with Autumn, Amanda and Benny.
They liked the elephant the most.

We took the kids to the park for Greek day in their home school group. They played in the olympics, made laurel wreaths, ate Greek food and played on the playground.

On Saturday, we went on a hike at South mountain.
